Lulu

 

The smallest kitten of them all.

Her fiery fur flickered,

stripes of flames,

dipped in white paint.

 

Azure pools for eyes,

a cherry blossom nose,

white needle whiskers.

Warm pointed ears,

tinted with hues of sunrise pink.

 

Her rounded body,

too large for stubby legs.

The little kitten waddled,

her slender tail held high.

 

She opened her mouth,

but she never cried.

She was a quiet one,

she didn't make a sound.
