For the most part, Calais is incredibly friendly and it's difficult to make him snap. This raptor is also gentle and caring, he shares a close bond with his owner. He's too curious for his own good, often sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. It's easy for him to focus. Calais is confident, he's willing to push boundaries and won't hesitate on sharing his thoughts on something. He's playful but sometimes gets too caught up in this. It isn't hard to earn his trust.
On occasion, he can be stubborn. Calais is envious of others over trivial things. He strongly dislikes being left out or not knowing something. He's protective of his handler and is possessive. When startled, which is easy to do, he is overly defensive. Calais is thievish and can be caught stealing food from people. His manners are lacking when it comes to anyone who isn't his handler.

Calais stands at eight feet and two inches in height. From head to tail, he measures twenty-two feet and three inches. The raptor weighs one hundred and thirty pounds.
