Physical Appearance and Accessories:

 

Opal stands at six feet and ten inches, measuring ten feet and four inches from nose to tail. Her base coat is mostly dark grey in colour with some black markings; this includes four thick stripes from her shoulders to hips that extend half-way across her body; a band one third of the way down her tail from the base, with a grey triangle shape and the point at the bottom, between this line and the rest of the black tail. In this there is a small swirl that extends from the side of the triangle, towards the point and curves in towards the dividing line. Her rear feet also have one thick black band each, just above her ankles, a thin line reaches from the midpoint of her leg and swirls at the end, touching the bands. On the front of edge of her thighs there is a black line. These markings are the same on the inside of her legs too. Her front paws have black covering her digits and along her top lip, from her light grey nose, there is a thick patch of black; though both of these are mostly covered by other markings to mimic borders. Opal's mane is mostly dark pink, gradienting to white after her shoulders; there are three blue streaks with large gaps before this, when the white becomes solid, there are four blue streaks with smaller gaps. Her tail is also dark pink and gradients to white at the tip. All of her paw pads and claws are white, as well as the insides of her ears. She has ringed eyes, the inside is chestnut while the outer ring is more marroon.

 

She has a brown satchel which contains her journal and pencil. There is also multiple rolls of paper and ribbons to tie her letters with. As well as this there is equipment to control her pet hawk; which includes jesses, gloves and a leash. Opal uses this to store her supplies, such as food, for her journeys and to carry home her treasures.

 

Personality and Quirks:

 

Opal is outgoing, ambitious and curious. She loves to make new friends to keep her company while she is away from home. This Viscet is very affectionate. She is extremely kind and will help anyone in need. In addition, she is loyal. Opal also has a great memory and remembers most people she meets; she loves to think about her past experiences. Sometimes she can be observant, she often sketches her finds in her journal. She is also a big dreamer, she loves to imagine what the lives of animals around her are like; as well as questioning 'why', 'how' and 'what if'. Opal enjoys crafted objects and other creative items. While she isn't the smartest viscet, she is pretty average in intelligence; though she still loves to learn.

Unfortunately, Opal is a risk-taker and isn't very observant when it comes to examining for dangers; often too excited to take care. This usually causes some problems in her adventures. Also, she is often quite attached to most people she meets; even if she hardly knows them. This makes it hard for her to leave, but she could never leave the joy of finding new places and items behind. She has a tendency to be oblivious to others' discomfort when she asks too many questions or is too energetic. Opal doesn't learn from her mistakes easily so she often does the same ones multiple times. She can be clumsy at times but not too often.

 

Abilities:

 

She can read and write in English, although she isn't the best at it. However, she is excellent at drawing and can create realistic sketches when recording things she comes across in her journal.

 

Territory:

 

Opal does not have a territory since she is always on the move.
